Jean Chadeayne was a shipmaster and mariner who, in 1681-2, fled religious persecution from the Village of Hiers, near the seaport town of Marrenes in the Province of Saintonge, France. This site documents his descendants.

Use the toolbar above to navigate the site. The Chadeayne database currently has 7849 individuals and 2911 marriages. I'm discovering new cousins every day so check back often. If you're one of Jean's descendants, I'd be happy to hear from you.
